My Happy Weekend

Last weekend was full of fun and excitement for me. On Saturday morning, I woke up early and had a delicious breakfast with my family. After that, we went to the park near our house. The weather was perfect—sunny but not too hot. We played frisbee and had a picnic under a big tree. It was so nice to enjoy the fresh air and spend time together.

In the afternoon, I visited my best friend, Lily. We decided to read some English storybooks. Reading is one of my favorite activities because it helps me learn new words and improves my understanding of the language. Lily and I also practiced speaking English by talking about our favorite movies and TV shows.

On Sunday, I helped my mom bake cookies. Baking is always fun, and we enjoyed every step of the process. First, we mixed the ingredients, then shaped the dough into small balls, and finally put them in the oven. While waiting for the cookies to bake, I played board games with my little brother. He loves challenges, and we both had a great time.

Later in the evening, my dad took us all to see a movie. The film was funny and made us laugh a lot. By the end of the day, I felt tired but happy. My weekend was filled with laughter, learning, and quality family time. I can’t wait for the next weekend to come!
